THE Crucial Crew Interactive website has been selected to be "Website of the month" for June 2009 by Junior Education PLUS magazine, a leading title for primary school teachers in the UK.
"The Crucial Crew website is an invaluable teaching resource that will help to boost child safety by helping young people recognise potential everyday hazards," explained the magazine's deputy editor Victoria Paley. She added: "Furthermore, using child-friendly and familiar contexts, it addresses the practical steps children can take to ensure their own safety and well-being. This is a brilliant website and perfect for use in school during Child Safety Week 2009 (22-28 June)."
Junior Education PLUS magazine is featuring the Crucial Crew site in a regular feature called ‘Webwise’, which aims to share with teachers a fantastic website resource that the editors think they need to know about. It includes a series of screenshots (including one of the homepage) and copy that explains just some of the great features the website provides.
The feature describes the Crucial Crew site as 'Fantastic" and highlights six of the games, including the "brilliant" building sites safety game.
